CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Training sessions run back-to-back, and students are welcome to participate in as many training sessions as they would like throughout the month at no additional fee. Beginner students should seek approval from an instructor prior to participating in the Advanced training sessions.  Please see training session times and monthly membership pricing below:

BEGINNER JUDO CLASS

$30 for 1, $45 for 2, $55 for 3+ More Family Members

Designed for brand new or intermediate co-ed youth ages 5+.  Class will include basic fundamentals of physical fitness, falling, throwing, and grappling techniques.  Class is designed to prepare youth athletes for local judo competition within the first 3-6 months.  All judoka must be registered and insured with a national governing body of judo before stepping on the mat.  Prospective students are welcome to observe.

ADVANCED JUDO CLASS

$30 for 1, $45 for 2, $55 for 3+ More Family Members


Designed for experienced co-ed youth and adult judoka.  Class will include advanced competition technical instruction, kata (forms) execution, advanced throwing and grappling techniques, and submission dynamics. Class is fast paced and includes timed sessions of randori (free sparring), and competition preparation for competitive athletes.  All judoka must be registered and insured with a national governing body of judo. 

JIU-JITSU & CONDITIONING

$30 for 1, $45 for 2, $55 for 3+ More Family Members

Designed for brand new or intermediate co-ed jiu-jitsu players of all ages (5+).  Class builds basic fundamentals of grappling, pinning, submission, and control techniques. Course is highly recommended for judo players wanting to improve their ne-waza (ground) grappling techniques.  All jiu-jitsu players must be registered and insured with a national governing body of judo before stepping on the mat.
